Badosa to lead Spain at 2024 Billie Jean King Cup Finals

Spain have announced their team for the World Cup of Tennis Finals taking place in Malaga on 13-20 November
World No. 20 Paula Badosa will lead the Spanish side at this year's Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals.
Spain, who kickstart the whole Finals in a mouthwatering clash against Poland on 13 November, have named their full team line-up for the showpiece event of the women's team tennis calendar.
Badosa will be joined by Jessica Bouzas, as well as Olympic bronze medallists Cristina Bucsa and Sara Sorribes Tormo, and Nuria Parrizas Diaz.
Speaking at the Davis Cup Finals Group Stage in Valencia, captain Anabel Medina said: "We have suffered a lot with Paula. She had us in suspense for more than a year due to a back injury, but luckily she is in exceptional shape, she has made very good progress, she isin the Top 20 in the world and has just made the quarter-finals in New York."
Medina Garrigues added that she was "especially excited" about her rookie, Jessica Bouzas, who she believes is showing the world just what she is capable of having broken into the Top 100 this year.
The Billie Jean King Cup Finals will take place alongside the men's Davis Cup Final 8 in Malaga this year for what is sure to be a festival of tennis to end the 2024 season.
